⭐ Step-by-Step Guide: Joining Loyal Blue on Telegram ⭐

We’re moving to Telegram as our main platform for sharing match day content with members.

We know that some of our members have never used Telegram — or even downloaded an app before — so we’ve put together this simple, clear guide to help you through it. Please read it carefully before you start.

🔷 What is Telegram?

Telegram is a free, secure messaging app you install on your phone, tablet, or computer.
It’s simply a way for us to send you updates and match day content — nothing more.

👉 Important:

• Loyal Blue does not see or use your phone number.
• Your phone number is used once by Telegram only to verify your account.
• We don’t store or share any of your personal information.

📱 How to Join Loyal Blue on Telegram

✅ Step 1 — Be a member of our Facebook group

Only members of our vetted Facebook group are permitted to join our Telegram. Your Facebook membership will be checked as part of the approval process. If you are not yet a member of our Facebook group, please join here first:

✅ Step 2 — Download the Telegram app

On your smartphone or tablet:

• Open the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Store (Android).
• Search for: Telegram Messenger
• Tap Install or Get and wait for it to finish downloading.

If you prefer using a computer instead:

• Download Telegram for PC or Mac here:

✅ Step 3 — Set up your Telegram account

• Open the Telegram app.
• Enter your mobile phone number when asked.
  📌 This is just so Telegram can send you a verification code.
  📌 Loyal Blue does not see your number.
• You’ll receive a text message with a code — enter it into Telegram.
• You’ll then be asked to set your name.
  

  Please use your real first and last name. This helps our admin team verify and approve you.

✅ Step 4 — Request to join the Telegram group

Once your account is set up and you are already a member of our Facebook group, click this link to request access to the Telegram group:

⚠️ The link above directs you to a post on the Facebook Group with the actual link - as only approved Loyal Blue members are able to access our telegram chat. If for any reason you can't access Facebook, or you wish to invite someone who isn't on the page and wish to vouch for them - please email [email protected] to create a ticket for our staff. Please note replies can take up to 7 working days during busy periods.

✅ Step 5 — Wait for admin approval

• After you click the link, your request will be reviewed.
• We aim to approve members as quickly as possible, but during busy times it may take a little longer.
• Once approved, you’ll see match day content directly in the group.

🔷 A Few Important Notes

📌 If you are blocked or banned by Telegram before approval:
Sometimes Telegram itself blocks accounts it believes are suspicious — this is outside of our control. If this happens, follow the instructions from Telegram or create a new account with a different number or device.

📌 If you notice poor quality or connection problems:
Any video or sound issues are almost always due to your own internet connection or device — not Telegram or Loyal Blue. We recommend:

• Use a strong Wi-Fi connection whenever possible.
• Close unnecessary apps running in the background.
• Keep your device close to your router for the best signal.

📌 Firestick users:
Telegram is not currently available on Firestick, but you can still use it on your phone, tablet, or computer. You can mirror or cast your device screen to your TV if you prefer.
